4.0 WOMEN Scholarship – Encourage Female Students to choose the manufacturing sector CM&E

The scholarship program for female students looking for a career in the manufacturing sector continues. This year four awards of $4000 each will be awarded by Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), and Fiera Foods to woman who choose to pursue training programs leading to high-value manufacturing jobs.

The WOMEN 4.0 Collective, which aims to attract, develop, and retain woman in the manufacturing sector welcomes this initiative that encourages women’s success in traditionally male jobs. Joint projects between CM&E, the Quebec Industrial Research Center (CRIQ), and Investment Québec, WOMEN 4.0 counts on an action plan that aims to increase the proportion of women working in the provinces, from 26% to 35% at Quebec manufacturing companies within five years.

How to participate? Candidates have to write a maximum of 1000 words explaining why they are considering a career in the manufacturing sector, the training field in which they work, and how obtaining this scholarship could help them in their professional development.
