Hot melt adhesives for foam assembly
Our Thermobond GR70174 and JPS70154 hot melt adhesives have been specifically developed for the assembly of different foams used in mattress manufacturing. They remain flexible for many years to prevent cracking and offer good heat resistance to prevent warping. These hot melt adhesives have an average open time and an outstanding first hold.
Products designed for pocket spring manufacturing
Our Thermobond AL70264 product is designed for pocket spring manufacturing. It offers a reasonably long open time while having a quick first hold.
Adhesives for easy equipment maintenance
Our hot melt adhesives are developed to minimize your heating unit maintenance. Before using our products for the first time, it is always recommended to clean your machines according to our Cleaning Procedure for Hot Melt Machine document to avoid contamination or any other type of problem. Poorly maintained equipment may require too high a temperature to obtain a good adhesive viscosity, resulting in carbon accumulation at the melting tank.
It is therefore essential to keep your application unit clean at all times. Annual maintenance is recommended if the same product is used throughout the year. If you use different products, maintenance should be carried out on a more regular basis. It should be noted that excessive use of different adhesives can cause equipment breakage should an adverse reaction occur.
